Mentorship
Program: Short-Term Visits Module
Under the umbrella of its Mentorship Program: Short-Term Visits Module, the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis has formed a partnership with the Osteoporosis Society of Canada to launch a Request for Applications (RFA) that will enable developing or established researchers to spend up to three months in a specific location focusing on the acquisition of new concepts, knowledge, or techniques to broaden their research perspectives and skills.
IMHA and the Osteoporosis Society will award matching funds of $5,000 each for one partnered award per fiscal year. This partnered funding will support junior researchers (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows or junior investigators), including MDs and practicing clinicians, in the area of Metabolic Bone Disease and will be named the 'Dr. Timothy Murray Excellence in Osteoporosis Alliance Award'.
