Training
Through its training programs,
the Canadian Arthritis Network is creating the next generation
of scientists who will free people with arthritis from their
pain and disability. These future leaders in arthritis research
experience first hand a trans-disciplinary research environment
that promotes collaboration and networking and considers
the economic, social and ethical implications of their work.
The
Arthritis Society has generously
committed $500,000 per year, for the
seven years of the Network's funding
cycle, to train young investigators.
Funds are available for graduate students,
research fellows and research scholars
to acquire experience in basic science,
clinical research, product services
and development and industrial partnering.
