At the Canadian Arthritis Network (CAN) our most valuable asset is our people. CAN's membership includes some of the world's leading experts in arthritis and bone health research. Whether your interests are in molecular mechanisms of disease, synthetic biomaterials and bioengineering, or adaptive living for chronic disease consumers, CAN has the expertise to complement your R&D needs. Highlights include:

  • More than 200 leading scientists and clinicians from close to 50 different institutions across Canada;
  • Active discovery and innovation programs in osteoarthritis (OA), inflammatory joint disease (IJD), bioengineering and more;
  • Methodological expertise and know-how for R&D in tissue processing and assessment, mechanical testing, imaging, biofluid and biomarker analysis, in vitro drug screening, in vivo studies in small and large animals;
