Canadian Arthritis Network 2010 Annual Scientific Conference

Up to 10 travel awards will be available to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows involved in CAN-related research to attend the Canadian Arthritis Network's 2010 Annual Scientific Conference. Awards include conference registration, hotel accommodation, travel and meals provided at the Conference.

Recipients of travel awards must present a poster.

The travel award certificates will be presented at the closing dinner on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

Eligibility

All graduate students and postdoctoral fellows working directly on CAN-related research in Canada are eligible for the awards. Those who received a CAN/TAS training award, summer student award in 2010 or who are funded through a CAN grant do not need to apply for a travel award because their registration fees and travel costs are already covered by CAN.

How to apply

Trainees who wish to be considered for a travel award must submit a letter of interest and complete requirements for the "Call for Poster Abstracts". The letter must include the reason for requesting a travel award and a statement confirming participation in a CAN-related project, signed by the supervisor.
