Canadian Arthritis Network 2009 Annual Scientific Conference

November 19-21, 2009

Up to 10 travel awards will be available to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows involved in CAN-related research to attend the Canadian Arthritis Network's 2009 Annual Scientific Conference. Awards include registration, hotel accommodation, travel and meals provided at the Conference.

Recipients of travel awards must present a poster.

The travel award certificates will be presented at the closing dinner on Saturday, November 21, 2009.

Eligibility

All graduate students and postdoctoral fellows working directly on CAN-related research in a CAN investigator's lab are eligible for the awards. Those who received a CAN training award or summer student award in 2009 do not need to apply for a travel award because their registration fees and travel costs are covered by CAN.

How to apply

Trainees who wish to be considered for a travel award must submit a letter of interest and complete requirements for the "Call for Poster Abstracts". The letter must include the reason for requesting a travel award and a statement confirming participation in the CAN-related project, signed by the supervisor.
