Management Committee
The Research Management Committee, which reports to the Board of Directors, is responsible for providing oversight of Network operations.

Partnerships and Sustainability Committee
The Partnerships & Sustainability
Committee establishes strategic and
fiscal partnerships with academic
institutions, federal and provincial
agencies and the private sector.
PASC was discontinued in September 2007 to reflect the
evolving needs of the Network. Thanks goes out to all the
volunteers who served on the committee and contributed their
valuable time and expertise.

Training
& Education Committee
The Training and Education Committee develops training programs that will create the next generation of arthritis researchers.

Consumer Advisory Council
This diverse group of people with arthritis ensures CAN's work is relevant and accessible to people with arthritis. As its name suggests, the council is responsible for articulating to CAN directors, management and members the needs and concerns of people with arthritis as they relate to CAN research initiatives. Council members participate in all of CAN's committees and are involved in the peer-review process for awarding CAN grants.

Scientific and Medical Advisory Council
The Canadian Arthritis Network has recruited recognized international experts in arthritis research and development to provide the management team with world-class peer-review of its research programs.
